I can see why this sandwich shop is popping off lately, it's simple but they do it so good! The load these sandwiches up with quality meats and cheeses and have some interesting combinations to try! I got the mortadella, burrata, and pistachio cream one. This sandwich was huge and actually fed me for 2 meals. I say make this a stop on your food list!

Wait time can be long but they move quickly. Prepare to know your order by the time you're called up! I ordered the La Dante and, based on a yelp review I saw, I requested to add sun dried tomatoes and it was a tasteful decision. If you want it split in half, also request this while ordering because traditionally it comes as a one large size. Small space inside with minor standing area to eat and a handful of spots to sit in front. Would return next time I'm in Venice.

Probably closer to 4.5 stars but felt it deserved 5 stars because the staff were so nice and friendly. The sandwiches were very tasty. I had the LA SCHIACCIATA DEL BOSS - $20 - Prosciutto Toscano, Pecorino, Truflle Cream and the L'INFERNO - $17 - Porchetta, Nduja, Spicy Eggplant, Spicy Zucchini, Arugula. Both sandwiches were excellent with high quality ingredients. A lot of complaints I hear are about the bread but the bread was great, warm like it had recently come out of the oven. The problem is, you have to eat the sandwich while the bread is still fresh. I saved half of each of my sandwiches for later and the bread was very hard to eat but that was my fault because the sandwiches are meant to be eaten right away for best results. I think the biggest difference between All'Antico Vinaio in Los Angeles and All'Antico Vinaio in Italy is the Los Angeles sandwiches don't have a lot of meat where, from what I have seen, the Italy sandwiches are packed. Understandable since the cost of importing these fine ingredients would make it too expensive to load them up like they do in Italy. I would say that if they put more meat in the sandwiches at the Los Angeles location given the flavor and quality of ingredients, based on the sandwiches I had, All'Antico Vinaio LA would be a strong 5 stars.

Believe the hype. The sandwiches are incredible. They seriously taste exactly like a place in Italy that I tried that. I thought I would never be able to find again. Seems like there's a bit of a fad where sandwich places like this are popping up, but this is the real deal. Try any of those sandwiches. I've had almost all of them and they've been incredible. The service is really kind too. It's a nice experience actually going in person if you have the opportunity.
